Sidtha Chief Physician

Vikram Pandian belongs to a family with a noble lineage and is considered the zamin (landlord or chieftain) of his region, which holds traditional significance. The title reflects not only his family's legacy in overseeing the land but also a respected role in preserving and practicing ancient medicinal knowledge. Being from Velliyankundram village in Madurai, his family has carried the honor of traditional healing for generations, specifically with roots in Siddha medicine. This position reinforces his role as a custodian of cultural and medical heritage in his community, particularly through his expertise in treating toxicology cases and diagnosing through pulse reading.

He currently serves as the chief physician of Aalavai Arasi Gurukulam Siddha Hospital in Madurai, where he continues to advance his family's longstanding contributions to health and well-being through traditional Siddha practices. This blend of heritage, expertise, and dedication has also led to his recognition by international institutions, including a doctorate in Siddha medicine from the World Tamil University, USA.
