Germination is the process by which a plant grows from a seed into a seedling.
Difference between sprouted ragi and ragi?
- Sprouted ragi increases iron content by almost 10 times. Simple milled ragi contains about 5mg of iron per 100g, once you sprout, it changes to 51mg of iron per 100g. This is the beauty of soaking and germination. Nature does all the work, we just need to consume it the right way to get the maximum benefit. Sprouting increases the protein content of ragi.
Germination Process
- Soak Ragi for 8 hours. Once soaked, the ragi sprouted for 3-4 days so that tiny sprouts emerge from them. You can dry the sprouted ragi under shade and make ragi flour which is used in Agasthiar Nutri Booster.
