Vaithiar Lekshmikanth, originating from the historically rich region of Kumari Munai in Nagercoil, India, belongs to the esteemed Naanjil Varma Vithvaan lineage. His grandfather, Sithambara Thanupillai Varmani, was a renowned author in the field of traditional medicine, which greatly influenced his path. Raised in Kadukarai, a village renowned for its mastery in Varmam (an ancient martial and medical art), he trained under various distinguished mentors. His primary guru, Manavalakurichi Selva, imparted him with extensive Varmam knowledge, complemented by teachings from Suppaya Asan, who guided him in Varma Asan, and Pulipudi Asan, who further deepened his understanding of this ancient practice.
In 1994, he graduated as a Siddha pharmacist from the Government Siddha Medical College and Hospital in India, becoming a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP). His professional journey began with Ayurveda training under Dr. MP Sharma, focusing on Panchakarma practices. Following this, he served as the chief analyst for formulation at the Sri Sailam Siddha and Ayurveda Centre in Dindukal (1995-1996). His career later brought him to Kuala Lumpur, where he served as a Siddha physician with Arokya Vazkai Sdn Bhd. Married to Agasthiar Rathy, he has continued his lifelong dedication to Siddha and Ayurveda, building on his family's legacy and furthering his mission in traditional healing practices.
